Responsibilities

DELIVERIES

  • Ensure that the correct number of cartons is delivered from the Warehouse, checking with Loading Bay or Driver if a carton is not received in the first instance
  • Report any missing cartons to management
  • Open all the cartons and lay inventory out accurately and correctly check off stock against the Manifest
  • Ensure that the size, style, name, colour, UPC and Line Number and store details match the Manifest before accepting inventory
  • Double check units delivered and if delivery is short, adjust manifest and system
  • Check new lines along with bulk replenishment deliveries to determine if the style needs to be pulled for display
  • Responsible for ensuring all units have been receipted onto the system accurately
  • When sending transfers out, ensure company procedures are followed including pair checking / QC checking and making sure the correct styles are in the boxes
  • Ensure all transfer manifests are filled out correctly and handed to line manager to process through Rex system
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is attached to the out cartons and transfers are taken down to the loading bay efficiently for collection

PUTTING DELIVERY AWAY

  • Always ensure inventory is put away on relevant shelving and not on the stock room floor, ensuring that the bar-code labels are clearly visible brand, in colour, alphabet and size order, if required, and in compliance with the Manual Handling Regulations
  • Ensure careful handling of company merchandise to prevent any unnecessary damage, maintaining a high standard of stock maintenance, including guidelines around shoe box etiquette
  • Assist in the preparation for branch stock takes
  • Ensure that the stockrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times, removing any empty boxes or rubbish as required.
  • Assist in the housekeeping of the branch interior and displays, when required.
  • Ensure full awareness and knowledge of company and branch security procedures in regards Stock Management
  • Carry out any reasonable request by the Store Manager to ensure and assist with the smooth and efficient running of the Branch
  • Bring to the attention of the Manager any issues or concerns that may have a detrimental effect on the business, including any concerns around security

Requirements

  • Highly motivated
  • Strong communicator
  • Ability to stand for long periods and engage in repetitive activities
  • Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and use a stepping stool
  • Flexible to work weekends and evenings.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Proficient in English, written and spoken
