Through our People Experience Partners, we support your professional growth, learning journey, and work-life balance every step of the way.\n\nThe Challenge\nValidate the quality, reliability and safety-related behaviour of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) software.\nPerform hands-on validation and automation across real and simulated robotic environments.\nDevelop Python-based automated tests and maintain regression test suites.\nCreate realistic simulation scenarios using Gazebo / Ignition Gazebo.\nValidate robotic workflows including navigation, localisation, obstacle avoidance and sensor interactions.\nInteract with ROS Topics, Services, Actions and Parameters during testing.\nAnalyse ROS Bags, application logs and diagnostic outputs to investigate failures.\nReproduce, isolate and investigate software defects, distinguishing software issues from configuration or environmental conditions.\nDesign and maintain test cases, test plans, regression suites and release validation processes.\nManage test execution, defects and traceability using tools such as Jira, Xray or Zephyr.\nCollaborate closely with Robotics, Backend, DevOps and Product teams to improve software quality.\nSupport release readiness assessments and continuously improve validation coverage.\nWhat you bring to the table\nProfessional experience in Robotics Software Testing / QA Engineering.\n+4 Years of Experience in QA Engineering\nStrong knowledge of ROS1 and/or ROS2.\nExperience with Python and automated test development.\nHands-on experience with Gazebo / Ignition Gazebo and simulation-based validation.\nUnderstanding of robotics concepts such as navigation, localisation, sensor interactions and obstacle avoidance.\nExperience working with ROS Topics, Services, Actions and Parameters.\nExperience analysing logs, ROS Bags and diagnostic outputs to investigate technical failures.\nKnowledge of test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, defect reporting and release validation.\nExperience with Jira or similar test/defect management tools.\nAbility to investigate and reproduce technical issues independently.\nA structured and methodical approach to testing and quality.\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams.\nWhat we offer\nA project that matches your skills and ambitions, as well as your preferences for working policies and culture.\nA competitive salary with awesome benefits and opportunities to leverage your knowledge and network to earn additional income.\nAn empowering and respectful work culture enriched with social and learning events.\nA People Experience Partner specially assigned to you – your go-to career guide, responsible for supporting your growth, facilitating training, and ensuring your work-life balance at KWAN.\nSome Words From Our Colleagues\n“At KWAN, they make sure that I feel comfortable with the client I’m working for and that what I’m doing aligns with my career aspirations.”\n— Luis Caldeira, DevOps @ KWAN\nDo you identify with this opportunity?
