and replacement of network equipment, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.\nInstallation of network equipment in racks and connection to the existing infrastructure.\nPhysical network patching and cable management.\nConnecting and verifying copper and fiber-optic links.\nWorking with patch panels, SFP/SFP+ modules, and network cabling.\nBasic troubleshooting of physical connectivity issues.\nEquipment replacement and troubleshooting during hardware failures.\nPerforming on-site network maintenance and implementation of planned changes.\nQualifications and experience needed\n2+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network operations.\nGood understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.\n\nHands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure).\n\nGood knowledge of Layer 2 technologies:\n\nVLANs and Trunking (802.1Q)\nSTP / RSTP\nLACP / EtherChannel\nGood knowledge and practical experience with Layer 3 networking:\n\nIPv4 addressing and subnetting\nStatic routing\nOSPF\nBGP\nUnderstanding of Enterprise and Data Center network architectures.\n\nKnowledge and practical experience with Wi-Fi networks:\nAccess Points (AP)\nWireless LAN Controllers (WLC)\nSSIDs and VLAN integration\nBasic Wi-Fi troubleshooting and coverage analysis\nExperience with network troubleshooting using ping, traceroute, SSH, packet captures, device logs, and monitoring tools.\nAbility to troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, and network performance issues.\nBasic understanding of network redundancy and high-availability concepts.\n\nWill be a plus\nExperience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus switches.\nExperience with Cisco Wireless / WLC.\nBasic understanding of VXLAN / EVPN.\nFamiliarity with network monitoring systems such as Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, or similar.\nBasic knowledge of ACLs, NAT, and firewalls.\nBasic experience with network automation using Python or
