hearts.\nAbout the opportunity\nAs a Life Enrichment & Well-being Coordinator, you will be responsible for:\nTo support Life Enrichment & Well-being Lead with researching and sourcing a broad and diverse range of activities to ensure that every KYN resident’s individual needs are met.\nTo support the Life Enrichment & Well-being Lead in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere consistently delivering an exceptional experience for our residents and their families.\nTo ensure that every day provides a range of activities that stimulate all senses and will enhance the lives of our residents. \nTo build relationships with our residents and fully understand their needs, favourite pastimes, and interests.\nTo support Life Enrichment & Well-being Lead with broadening KYN’s network and building relationships with a wide variety of groups, societies, and companies in the local community, ensuring that our social and activities calendar is varied, interesting and fulfilling.\nTo build personal and professional relationships with every member of the team \nLiaise with the Home Manager to ensure that where required, risk assessments are carried out.\nTo plan and deliver a calendar of social entertainment and cultural activities and events that will enrich the lives of our residents.\nEnsure that all data and information in relation to resident’s personal information is secure and confidential.\n Provide residents living with dementia opportunities to engage in meaningful activities of daily living that meets their changing needs, as their condition progresses\nTo support residents and team members in the gathering of life history using KYN My Life, past, present and future\nEnsure Residents that do not join group engagement activities have the opportunity to have one to one engagements.\nSupport and educate team members on how to meaningfully engage with Residents and how to record it accurately.\nSupport with interviews and recruitment process for new team members\nSupport with the integration and mentorship of students doing their placements at KYN\nActively support research activity at KYN.\nTo ensure timely and accurate records are maintained for all life enriching activity\nComply with all KYN policies, standards, and toolkits.\nAbout you\nYou will have imagination and structure, as well as strong planning and organisation skills. \nYou will be a professional, who has good understanding of creating, designing, curating, organising events that stimulate and engage. \nYou will be an effective team player who builds professional and trusting relationships with every member of the team, ensuring they feel valued. \nYou will be patient with the ability to deal with difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.\nYou will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to anticipate problems before they arise.\nYou will have a particular skill or interest which you can share with residents, such as art, sport, music
