This multi-faceted role bridges system administration, enterprise networking, and cybersecurity, serving as a critical pillar in keeping our clients' mission-critical systems reliable and safe.\nIn this direct client-facing role, you will take full ownership of firewall policies, network switching environments, endpoint protection, user access controls, and infrastructure monitoring. You will drive operational excellence, optimize security frameworks through PowerShell automation, and ensure maximum uptime and security compliance across complex, highly regulated environments.\nWhat You Will Do\nExecute smooth operational handovers and maintain continuous stability across government and enterprise IT environments.\nAdminister, optimize, and harden Check Point firewalls, Fortinet FortiGate appliances, and Cisco switching infrastructure.\nManage Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and user access controls.\nUtilize PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks, system configurations, and custom operational reporting.\nOversee endpoint protection, XDR solutions, Syslog servers, and central infrastructure monitoring to proactively mitigate threats.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex multi-domain system, network, and security incidents to ensure high service availability.\nProvide expert technical consultation and client-facing support to key government stakeholders and enterprise clients.\nContinuously refine Network Access Control (NAC) and security policies to comply with stringent industry standards.\nYour Future at Kyndryl\nBecoming a System, Network & Security Administrator at Kyndryl is an excellent gateway to many different paths. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nWho You Are\nRequired Skills and Experience\nProven hands-on administration experience across integrated system, network, and security environments.\nDemonstrated experience administering Check Point firewalls (security policies) and Fortinet FortiGate appliances.\nStrong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, enterprise LAN/WAN technologies, and proficiency with the Cisco CLI.\nHands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).\nPractical PowerShell scripting skills for automation, system configuration, and efficiency improvements.\nStrong familiarity with endpoint security, XDR solutions, Syslog logging, and central monitoring tools.\nExcellent analytical troubleshooting skills paired with strong, customer-oriented communication abilities.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience managing Juniper and HPE switches or administering Portnox NAC solutions.\nBackground with Trend Micro (Apex One), McAfee Web Gateway, or PRTG Network Monitor.\nPrior experience supporting government ministries, highly regulated environments, or MSP setups.\nActive certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft credentials.\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
