The Role
Key responsibilities:
Build, maintain, and enhance the Azure API Management (APIM)-based Internal API Platform.
Design and develop the Enterprise Context Gateway to support secure, governed integration of AI agents and enterprise services.
Develop and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Ensure platform security, reliability, scalability, resilience, and high availability.
Support the bank's transition to an AI-native architecture by enabling access to enterprise data, tools, and MCP services.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to improve the organization's integration ecosystem.
Create and maintain developer self-service tools to improve platform adoption and developer experience.
Implement automated and compliant deployment processes aligned with enterprise standards.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance and operational stability.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call/standby rotation to ensure availability of mission-critical services and platforms

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Proven experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using ARM templates and Bicep within Azure DevOps.
Strong understanding of security-by-design principles, secure API development practices, and cloud compliance requirements.
Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs.
Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn, take ownership, and participate in 24/7 standby/on-call support duties.
Ability to work fluently and effectively within an English-speaking team environment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
Experience enabling and implementing Agentic AI solutions using protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).
