You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project - understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.\nAs an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert - consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.\nResponsibilities:\nAWS Architecture (Primary)\nProvide architectural guidance and governance for AWS environments.\nDesign and review AWS solutions covering networking, security, compute, storage, and container platforms.\nSupport hybrid and multi-cloud architectures spanning GCP and AWS.\nDefine AWS operational and security standards aligned with enterprise requirements. \nCloud Architecture & Strategy (Secondary)\nDefine and implement enterprise-scale GCP cloud architecture, landing zones, governance, and security frameworks.\nDesign highly available, scalable, and cost-optimised cloud solutions aligned to business and application requirements.\nEstablish cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.\nLead cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives to GCP.\nConduct architecture reviews, technology assessments, and workload placement recommendations.\nKubernetes & Container Platform Architecture\nArchitect and govern container platforms including: Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)\nAmazon EKS\nAWS EKS Anywhere\n\nDefine cluster architecture, networking, security, observability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.\nEstablish Kubernetes platform standards, security guardrails, and operational models.\nGuide engineering teams on containerisation, microservices, and cloud-native adoption.\nDevOps & Automation\nDefine and implement enterprise DevOps and GitOps strategies.\nArchitect CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, and related tools.\nChampion Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and platform automation.\nDrive DevSecOps adoption, policy-as-code, security automation, and compliance enforcement.\nEnable automated deployment, monitoring, remediation, and operational excellence practices.\nSecurity, Governance & Compliance\nDesign cloud security architecture, IAM models, network security controls, and compliance frameworks.\nEstablish governance using AWS Config, Audit Manager, GCP Security Command Center, and policy controls.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.\nReview and approve cloud solution designs from a security and governance perspective\nAt Kyndryl we support all major cloud platforms, so you’ll get the chance to use everything you know - and then some.
