The ideal candidate should have expertise in NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, optimization techniques, and AI solution architecture. Familiarity with business processes in 1-2 domains (e.g., Financial, Telecom, Retail) is essential to quickly understand requirements and develop solutions. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, with expertise in NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, optimization techniques, and AI solution architecture.\n\nPhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent research experience\n\nExperience with leading client presentations on proposed solution.\n\nFamiliarity with business processes in 1-2 domains (e.g., Financial, Telecom, Retail) to quickly understand requirements and develop solutions.\n\nGraduate/Postgraduate in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent with 10-12 years of experience in the IT industry.\n\nPast experience in responding to or solutioning for RFPs, customer proposals, and customer presentations/orals.\n\nMinimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role or similar role.\n\nStrong understanding of Transformers, LLMs, Fine Tuning, Agents, and RAG techniques.\n\nExperience using LLM models on cloud platforms (OpenAI @ Azure, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI).\n\nExperience in AI/ML, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models. Proven track record in working with major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).\n\nUnderstanding of how to deploy LLMs on cloud/on-premise and use APIs to build industry solutions.\n\nStrong domain experience in at least two industries (e.g., Financial, Retail, Manufacturing, Telecom).\n\nCompleted 2-3 projects in the domain of expertise.\n\nStrong knowledge of Python, C/C++.\n\nData mining, visualization, and machine learning skills.\n\nFluent in English (written and spoken).\n\nDegree in a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other engineering fields.\n\n Preferred Technical and Professional Experience\nCertification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)\n\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
