The Role

As a Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist, you will help maintain, secure, and optimizethe infrastructure that supports cybersecurity operations. Working across networks, servers, operating systems, and security platforms, you will ensure that critical systems remainsecure, available, and resilient. You will collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations teams to implement security architectures, support network management activities, and strengthen defenses against evolving cyber threats.

What You Will Do

• Monitor, manage, and support secure network and infrastructure environments.

• Implement, configure, and maintaincybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security solutions, and SIEM platforms.

• Assistwith network management activities including routing, switching, VPN connectivity, load balancing, and network availability monitoring.

• Troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and security configuration issues to maintainoperational stability and performance.

• Support the design and implementation of security architectures, network segmentation, and Zero Trust frameworks.

• Monitor network performance, identifyrisks, and recommend improvements to security and infrastructure operations.

• Assistwith security compliance efforts by implementing controls aligned to organizational requirements and industry standards.

• Gather diagnostic information, perform root-cause analysis, and escalate complex technical issues when appropriate.

• Document infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting procedures, security controls, and operational best practices.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver secure and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPNs, and network performance management.

• Foundational experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security platforms, and SIEM solutions.

• Understanding ofoperating systems such as Windows and Linux and their security mechanisms.

• Knowledge of network addressing, protocols, traffic flow, and secure connectivity concepts.

• Ability to monitorand troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and security-related issues.

• Familiarity with security standards, compliance requirements, and industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar standards.

• Understanding ofnetwork security risks, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

• Ability to support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure and security solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to document configurations, operational procedures, incidents, and technical recommendations.

• Strong communicationand collaboration skills when working with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing or supporting security architectures, network segmentation, or Zero Trust implementations.

• Experience with enterprise network, server, cloud, or infrastructure security controls.

• Familiarity with workload, server, and network architectures in complex enterprise environments.

• Experience supporting highly available, large-scale, or managed infrastructure environments.

• Knowledge of automation, infrastructure monitoring, or network management tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a relatedfield.

• Relevant industry certifications in networking, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.

The base compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $63,360, to, $114,120 based on a full-time schedule reflects the minimum and maximumtarget compensation Kyndryl, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on multiple factors legally permittedin the applicable jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, geography, relevant job-related skills, education and experience, certification and licenses, internal pay equity, and market and business consideration. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, cityor local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California (San Francisco Bay Area): $76,080, to, $137,040,

California (All Other): $69,720, to, $125,640

Colorado: $63,360, to, $114,120

Massachusetts/ Virginia: $63,360, to, $125,640

New York City: $76,080, to, $137,040

Washington: $69,720, to, $125,640

Washington DC: $69,720, to, $125,640

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participatein a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
