The role requires practical VBScript knowledge, strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work with business and technical teams in a managed services environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport finance-related systems, scripts, automated processes and operational workflows in a production environment.\nDevelop, execute, troubleshoot and maintain VBScript/VBS automations in accordance with business and technical requirements.\nInvestigate application, script, interface and data issues; perform root cause analysis and support permanent corrective actions.\nValidate automated outputs, test changes and support functional, regression and automation testing activities.\nWork with finance users and technical teams to understand requirements, clarify issues and translate needs into practical solutions.\nSupport incidents, service requests, problem management and change activities under established ITSM processes.\nMaintain documentation for scripts, operational procedures, known errors and knowledge articles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reliability, automation and operational efficiency across finance-related processes.\nWho You Are\nREQUIRED TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SKILLS\nHands-on understanding of VBScript/VBS, including script execution, syntax, control structures, functions, error handling and data types.\nGeneral programming knowledge and ability to analyze, troubleshoot and maintain automation scripts.\nKnowledge of testing and automation concepts, including validation of expected results and defect analysis.\nWorking understanding of web development fundamentals and Windows-based environments.\nBasic system administration awareness relevant to application and script execution.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nExperience working with incident, problem and change processes in an ITSM environment.\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nExperience supporting finance systems, financial reporting, reconciliations or finance-related business processes.\nKnowledge of VBA, Excel automation, SQL queries or relational database concepts.\nExperience with file-based interfaces, scheduled jobs or batch processing.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM platform.\nExperience working in Agile, application support or global delivery environments.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\nRelevant experience in application support, scripting, automation or finance systems support.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical teams and finance business users, manage priorities and work with appropriate supervision in a production support environment.\nLANGUAGES\nProfessional working proficiency in English, written and spoken.\nFluent Spanish, written and spoken.\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
