Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot\n\nBuild and maintain microservices architecture for scalable applications\n\nDevelop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems\n\nCollaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and architects\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices\n\nPerform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews\n\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)\n\nOptimize application performance and ensure high availability\n\nSupport deployment and release activities\n\nUsing design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\n4 to 6 Years of overall experience as a Lead Engineer / Senior Software Engineer\n\nStrong proficiency in Java (8 or above)\n\nHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA\n\nSolid front-end exposure using React\n\nStrong experience in microservices architecture and REST API development\n\nGood understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation\n\nExperience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL\n\nWorking knowledge of containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (basic to intermediate understanding)\n\nPreferred Technical and Professional Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience\n\nBanking / BFSI domain experience is highly preferred\n\nPrior experience handling high-volume, high-availability enterprise systems\n\nExperience playing a technical lead role with ownership of design and delivery\n\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
