In this role, you ensure system availability, stability, performance, and security while meeting defined service levels.\nYou are a hands-on technical professional who manages server operations, resolves incidents, and troubleshoots complex system issues. However, equally important, you have a growth mindset and a strong sense of ownership. You are customer-focused, proactive in problem solving, and comfortable working in fast-paced, production-critical environments while collaborating with global teams.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n4+ years of experience administering Linux operating systems in enterprise or production environments.\n\nHands-on experience with Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions.\n\nExperience managing server lifecycle activities, including installation, configuration, hardening, and patching.\n\nProven experience resolving incidents and troubleshooting system and performance issues under SLAs.\n\nIntermediate English proficiency for technical documentation and collaboration with global teams.\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nKnowledge of user, permission, and security management (sudo, ACLs, SELinux).\n\nExperience administering common Linux services such as systemd, cron, SSH, NFS, Samba, Apache, and similar.\n\nBasic scripting experience for automation (Bash).\n\nExperience with proactive monitoring, capacity management, and operational documentation.\n\nRHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) or higher certification.\n\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
