Experts who share knowledge openly and collaborate freely.\nIn this strategic role, you’ll use your knowledge of legacy systems and cloud architecture to identify opportunities to modernize mainframe applications.\nWhat you will do\nPlan Strategy\nShape the future: Define, assess, and prioritize modernization roadmaps taking into account cost and risk. Design Frameworks\nInvent innovative solutions: You'll be responsible for designing cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products that will set the standard for the industry. You'll use your extensive technical knowledge to conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes, while also identifying and resolving any framework design weaknesses. Guide Teams\nShare your knowledge: Use your technical expertise to provide technical leadership to the application development team, perform design and code reviews, and ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained.\nAchieve business goals: Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture is aligned with business requirements, making sure that the project meets its goals. Document Architecture\nKeep vital records: Create and maintain documentation surrounding the software architecture, application design processes, component integration, testing guidelines, and other key elements.\n Who You Are\nRequired skills and experience\nArchitectural experience of large customer change and transformation projects\nIn depth knowledge and experience of hardware and software including connectivity between platforms Preferred skills and experience\nThe Open Group - Master Certified Architect (or equivalent)\nPrior hands-on experience working in a mainframe environment\nExperience in the following types of mainframe projects - Modernize On, Integrate With and Move Off\nStrong understanding of z/OS and IBM Software Products as well as 3rd party mainframe software\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
