The selected candidate will provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in platform engineering, automation, production support and complex troubleshooting.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the architecture, technical roadmap, and engineering standards for CI/CD, container, automation, and observability platforms.\nLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, release automation, and artifact management.\nManage and enhance Software Factory tools including Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, Quay, SonarQube, Digital.ai Deploy, and Digital.ai Release.\nMaintain, support, and continuously improve Build Factory platforms and services.\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines, templates, and shared components.\nAdminister and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\nManage and govern the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including organizations, inventories, credentials, job templates, and execution environments.\nDesign and implement automation solutions using Ansible playbooks, roles, and CI/CD integrations.\nSupport and manage OpenShift ecosystem technologies such as ArgoCD, Istio Service Mesh, Kyverno, and StackRox.\nAdminister Azure cloud services, including subscriptions, networking, compute, storage, security, governance, and RBAC.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), pipelines, and cloud automation tools.\nMaintain and enhance the Elastic Stack for centralized logging, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting.\nManage F5 platforms and develop automation capabilities, including Java-based tooling and configuration services.\nProvide L3 technical support, lead production incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.\nMentor engineers and collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, architecture, and application teams to drive platform adoption and operational excellence.\nYour future at Kyndryl\nEvery position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Technical and Professional Experience\n10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Factory Engineering.\nProven experience as a DevOps Lead, Platform Architect, or Technical SME in large-scale enterprise environments.\nStrong background in software development and CI/CD practices across Java, .NET, or Python applications.\nHands-on expertise in Jenkins, GitLab/Git, Maven, Nexus, SonarQube, and NPM.\nExtensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and release automation.\nStrong knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).\nExpert-level administration and engineering experience with Red Hat OpenShift clusters and platform operations.\nHands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including playbook development, automation, governance, and platform administration.\nExperience with Digital.ai Deploy and Digital.ai Release for deployment orchestration and release management.\nStrong working knowledge of ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.\nExpertise in YAML pipelines, scripting, and automation using PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Python, and Groovy.\nExperience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as ArgoCD, Istio Service Mesh, Kyverno, and StackRox.\nStrong Azure administration skills covering cloud infrastructure, security, governance, RBAC, and automation.\nProven ability to manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and drive problem management initiatives.\nExcellent leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide technical direction while remaining hands-on.\nPreferred Professional and Technical Expertise\nExperience supporting banking or financial services applications and platforms.\nKnowledge of regulatory, security, audit, release, and operational resilience requirements in banking environments.\nExperience supporting critical production systems in regulated enterprise environments.\nExperience working with globally distributed engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams.\nIndustry certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift, Ansible, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
