Working in tandem with functional analysts and business stakeholders, you will build scalable, high-performing SAP applications and ensure smooth integration across enterprise systems.\nWhat you will do:\nDevelop RICEFW Objects: Build and maintain comprehensive reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW) across the SAP landscape.\n\nEnhance Standard Functions: Develop and maintain custom reports, user exits, and Business Add-Ins (BADIs) to extend system capabilities across all SAP modules.\n\nDesign Enterprise Interfaces: Design high-performance interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs to ensure seamless connectivity with external third-party systems.\n\nOptimize Code Performance: Perform complex debugging and performance tuning for custom ABAP code and standard transactions to eliminate system bottlenecks.\n\nLeverage Modern ABAP: Utilize Modern ABAP capabilities, including Core Data Services (CDS) views and OData services, to power S/4HANA and Fiori-based applications.\n\nManage Software Lifecycle: Oversee technical documentation and manage SAP transport requests (TRs) across the entire development and deployment lifecycle.\n\nSupport System Migrations: Participate actively in technical system upgrades, version migrations, and end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects.\n\nEnforce Development Standards: Adhere strictly to established SAP development standards, governance policies, and technical best practices to ensure code quality.\n\nYour Future at Kyndryl\nAs an Application Consultant at Kyndryl you will join the Kyndryl Consultant Profession, working with other Kyndryl Consultants, Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional Technical Subject Matter Experts - presenting unlimited opportunities with unmatched support through our investment in your learning, training, and career growth.\nWho You Are\nYou’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. And finally, you’re open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\n\nStrong understanding of SAP modules and their data structures\n\nProficiency in ABAP/4 and Object-Oriented ABAP\n\nProficient in Data Dictionary and modularization techniques\n\nFamiliarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA development environments\n\nStrong experience with S/4HANA, CDS views, and OData service development\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development\n\nAbility to translate functional specifications into efficient, scalable technical code\n\nHands-on experience in RICEFW development\n\nStrong expertise in performance tuning and debugging\n\nExperience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits\n\nExperience with middleware integration (e.g., SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite)\n\nUnderstanding of SAP integration technologies (OData, REST, SOAP)\n\nProficiency in SmartForms, ALV, and SAP Scripts\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nSAP certification in ABAP preferred\n\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
