The ideal candidate should also possess hands-on experience in at least one additional ServiceNow module, including ITSM, HRSD, SAM, HAM, or other ServiceNow product areas, with the ability to contribute across multiple platform capabilities\nA Senior ServiceNow developer is a professional who designs, develops, and maintains applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform. They work closely with Architects, business analysts, client and other stakeholders to understand the requirements, provide solutions, and ensure the quality and performance of the applications. They also follow the best practices and standards of ServiceNow development and adhere to the security and compliance policies.\nWhat you will do\nDiscovery and Service Mapping - Implement and maintain ServiceNow Discovery across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Configure/Customise credentials, MID Servers, and probes/sensors to enable complete and accurate infrastructure discovery. Implement best practices for Discovery schedules, data reconciliation, and CMDB data hygiene. Design, develop, and maintain Service Mapping patterns for custom and out-of-the-box applications..\nEvent Management - Implement and configure ServiceNow Event Management (ITOM) capabilities, including Event Rules, Alert Management, and Correlation Rules. Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Nagios, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc.) with ServiceNow using MID Servers or APIs. Collaborate with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping teams to ensure data integrity and effective alert-to-CI mapping.\nIntegration - Build and optimize integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs for tools like Active Directory (AD), MID Servers, and cloud environments and Develop custom discovery patterns, workflows, and solutions tailored to specific business needs. ServiceNow ITOM - CMDB, Event management to allow ServiceNow to receive, correlate, and manage alerts or events from monitoring tools like Grafana, Solve, Control M, OEM.\nTesting - Knowledge of test automation using ATF. Should be able to do Test Case Design, Test Planning and Test Strategies. Understand the requirements, prepare test plans, test cases, execute & report. Ability to write test cases and test scenario, review, run and generate test reports1.
