Experts who share knowledge openly and collaborate freely.\nIn this role, you’ll design, build and maintain the high-volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you’ll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe’s core data.\nWhat you will do\nMaintain Performance\nPrevent decay and find efficiencies: Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance. Debug and Test\nFind and fix: Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running. Those who believe they are eligible may apply for a medical or religious accommodation prior to the start of employment.\nWho You Are\nRequired skills and experience\n2 years experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.\nThis role requires advanced coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on .NET\nExcellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, etc.) \nSoftware development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.\nExperienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services.\nKnowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues.\nDeep understanding of OOP and design patterns. Preferred skills and experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nCertification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl.\nExperience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.\nThe base compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -\n$92,040to$174,840based on a full-time schedule reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Kyndryl, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.\nYour actual compensation may vary depending on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, geography, relevant job-related skills, education and experience, certification and licenses, internal pay equity, and market and business consideration.
