Whether you want to broaden your knowledge base or narrow your scope and specialize in a specific sector, you can find your opportunity here.\nWho You Are\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister, maintain, and support CA Datacom/DB databases in large-scale mainframe environments.\nManage and optimize MUF (Multi-User Facility) configurations and performance.\nPerform database performance analysis, tuning, and capacity planning.\nImplement and support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.\nManage and troubleshoot replication technologies, including Change Data Capture (CDC) solutions.\nMonitor database health, availability, and operational metrics.\nLead root cause analysis and resolution of complex database incidents and performance issues.\nSupport database upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and best practices.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, application, middleware, and development teams to support business-critical applications.\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.\nParticipate in on-call support and incident management processes when required.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong experience as a Mainframe Database Administrator supporting enterprise production environments.\nDeep expertise with CA Datacom/DB Administration.\nStrong hands-on experience with: MUF (Multi-User Facility) managementDatabase performance tuning and optimizationBackup and recovery strategiesDatabase replication and CDC technologiesProblem determination and root cause analysis\nSolid experience with IBM z/OS operating systems.\nKnowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and other mainframe operational tools.\nExperience supporting high-availability and mission-critical environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with database modernization and migration projects.\nKnowledge of automation and monitoring solutions for mainframe environments.\nFamiliarity with enterprise integration and data replication architectures.\nExperience working in global and geographically distributed teams.\nPrevious experience acting as a technical lead, SME, or escalation point.\nBeing You\nThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
