They inform General Management of the financial health of the company, including our subsidiaries.\nThey also provide the company’s full picture through figures, reporting tables, and KPIs used to facilitate strategic decisions. Each team member’s role is to have a clear view of the day-to-day activities and predict and anticipate the future.\nThe team you will join:\nThe Administration and Finance team manages financial activities through Accounting and Controlling. Each team member’s role is to have a clear view of the day-to-day activities and predict and anticipate the future.\nWhat you will contribute to:\nResponsible for providing accounting support to accounting supervisors and other managers within the department. Assist with processing daily activities in to the general ledger system, completes bank reconciliations, as well as processing journal entries and the month-ending closing period. Compiling statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to matters such as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable and profits and losses.\nAssist in month-end reporting procedures\nProcess accounts payables and receivables as needed.\nPerform filing and general administrative tasks in support of accounting department.\nGeneral accounts receivable functions:\n* Process daily sales batch reports, prepare and submit customer invoices\n* Code, post and receipt payments\n* Prepare and coordinate deposit activities\n* Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations\n* Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment\nGeneral accounts payable functions:\n* Check, verify and process vendor invoices\n* Sort, code and enter accounts payable data\n* Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices\n* Maintain vendor files\nGeneral monthly accounting functions:\n* Assist with preparation of monthly account reconciliation reports\n* Reconcile bank statements\n* Suggest and post approved adjusting journal entries\nWhat you will need to be successful:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as an accounts receivable or payable clerk\nGerman language, advanced proficiency\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in accounting, preferred\nFamiliarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures\nCompetency in MS Office, databases, SAGE 100 ERP, Microsoft Dynamics\nProven ability to author excel spreadsheets and process financial reconciliation reports\nStrong decision making, problem solving, accuracy and attention to detail skills\nExcellent communication skills and ability to handle internal/external customer service requests professionally\nJoin our
