The individual will be involved in all phases of development from concept, design, verification, validation, manufacture, and systems implementation. Will work with key departments such as supply management, production, and quality to ensure that all departments are synchronized in order to optimize production and inventory.\nResponsibilities (Essential Functions):\nCreate customized mechanical & electro-mechanical designs and layouts.\nValidate designs using prototyping and with field assessment.\nDevelop design and component specifications and/or manufacturing drawings for internal/external suppliers.\nEnsure ERP engineering masters are correct and updated at all times.\nMaintain part numbering system.\nEnsure (new and legacy) drawings for suppliers are correct and have sufficient details for production at alternate sources.\nCreate new part numbers and bills of material (BOM).\nDevelop configured part numbers and BOMs with input from the Commercial team to meet customer’s needs.\nConsult with supply management and operations to determine manufacturing lead times.\nSupport Supply Chain and Operations as required per the engineering work request (EWR) process.\nCoordinate and participate in the installation of equipment in the field with the client as required.\nParticipate in new product development.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
