In this role, you will develop our communications work strategically and operationally, increase L1VE’s visibility among relevant media and communities, and ensure clear and consistent communication across the company.\nYour Role\nAs PR & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for L1VE’s communications across internal and external channels. You will develop topics and messages, build relationships with media and relevant stakeholders, and support the communication of important company, product and content topics - from the initial idea through to publication.\nYou will combine traditional press and public relations with modern corporate communications. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team, Brand, Marketing, Content, Product and Tech, as well as with our teams in Berlin and New York.\nYour Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement an integrated PR and communications strategy for L1VE, with a focus on external visibility and internal clarity\nIdentify, develop and prepare relevant topics relating to L1VE, our technologies, products, live formats and partnerships\nBuild and maintain relationships with journalists, editorial teams, media outlets, industry experts and other relevant multipliers\nCreate and place press releases, statements and background materials, and prepare media briefings, interviews and other communications formats\nPrepare and support media conversations, interviews, events, launches and public appearances by L1VE and its executive team\nDevelop and implement internal communications formats for teams in Berlin and New York, such as company updates, leadership communications, team information and change communications\nEnsure consistent positioning, tone of voice and messaging across internal and external communication channels\nMonitor media coverage, topics and relevant public discourse, and identify communication opportunities and potential risks\nCoordinate external agencies, freelancers and other communications partners, including the management of briefs, timelines and budgets\nMeasure and evaluate communications impact using relevant KPIs, media resonance and qualitative learnings\nUse AI tools for research, topic development, monitoring, personalization and the efficient creation of communications materials; you can provide concrete examples of use cases you have implemented and the value they created\nYour profile\nAt least five years of professional experience in PR, Corporate Communications, media relations or a comparable communications role\nProven experience independently designing and implementing external PR and internal corporate communications\nExcellent written and spoken German and English, with a confident and polished writing and editorial style in both languages\nExperience building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editorial teams, media outlets, agencies and other relevant stakeholders\nExperience with communications planning, messaging, stakeholder communications and the communication support of company, product or content launches\nA strong understanding of how to make complex technological, business or creative topics accessible and relevant to different target audiences\nExcellent organizational skills, initiative, a confident manner and a strong sense for sensitive topics and potential communication risks\nConfident and practical use of AI and communications tools; you can demonstrate with specific examples how you have improved quality, speed or reach through their use\nA strong interest in sports, media, entertainment, technology and immersive experiences\nWhy us?\nYou will play a key role in shaping the internal and external communications of an internationally active media and technology company.\nYou will make L1VE’s innovative technologies, live formats and company stories visible to relevant target audiences.\nYou will have significant room to shape your work, short decision-making paths, international collaboration, hybrid working options and flexible working hours.\nInterested?\nPlease send us your CV and a few sentences outlining your interest in L1VE and why you would be a strong fit for the PR & Communications Manager role.
