This role will be onsite, based at our Rochester, NY location. In this role, the associate will assist in billing, invoicing, and research for cash applications. The associate will work directly with the segment’s controls lead and the billing and collections team. The successful candidate is a detailed oriented individual who has a basic understanding of accounting principles.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nResponsible for setting up, validating and generating simple and complex invoices to various customers, with increased support at quarter-end\nEnsure all assigned invoices are processed and completed in a timely manner per the terms and conditions of the contract\nEnter invoices into the Wide Area Workflow government billing system timely\nIntercompany Invoice processing and Customer Milestone billing \nSupport cash application process through research and reconciliation\nSupport accounting team in gathering audit evidence on an as needed basis \nQualifications:\nTo be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in PeopleSoft and Oracle\nExperience with customer/management reporting\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Virgina is $48,500 - $90,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
