This manager provides tool engineering process direction and leadership to tool engineers supporting production and new product components.\nEssential Functions:\nProvides tool engineering and tool design process direction and leadership to the tooling organization to support production and development programs.\nDevelop and utilize processes that promote continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and other Operational Excellence tools.\nWorks closely with site management, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, process areas and product work centers to provide timely and qualified special tooling support for operation needs.\nProvides coaching and mentoring for career development and advancement of team members.\nAbility to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.\nTravel: 10%.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior mechanical engineering design experience. A Graduate Degree, or equivalent, with minimum of 4 years prior mechanical engineering design experience.
