This position is responsible for developing a global business strategy focusing on regions and partnerships that maximize sales across the entire Maritime Sector portfolio. They will also be responsible for coordinating across the enterprise for captures involving multiple L3Harris businesses. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated success pursuing major defense acquisition programs across the Maritime domain both at the platform and system level and possess or be able to develop trusted relationships with OEMs. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the global maritime market with an emphasis on shipbuilding. This position will be supporting the international markets within the Maritime Sector, leading multiple growth campaigns, specifically to protect and expand upon current and future maritime opportunities and franchises.\nEssential Functions:\nProtect & grow the Maritime franchises across international markets.\nEstablish strong and intimate relationships with key regional OEMs and customers. \nSupport new international opportunity qualification process including “connecting-the-dots” across other L3Harris segments/sectors/divisions’ growth initiatives.\nPrioritize campaign engagements leveraging Senior Leader participation\nSupport collection of international competitive intelligence and information to enhance L3Harris understanding of customers and competitor strategies\nUnderstand products and capabilities across the Maritime Sector to position, differentiate, and message effectively.\nBuild strategic partnerships with regional industry to meet offset and industrial participation requirements.\nSupport and strengthen relationships with large OEMs, focused on their regional offices.\nCollaborate and communicate across employees and representatives in the region, corporate country leaders, and U.S.-based businesses.\nKeep internal customer and opportunity database current, support inputs to the Annual Operating Plan and long-term planning, to include strategic planning for internal research and development.\nDevelop impactful messaging, white papers, and briefing material for internal and external customers.\nEngage in requirements-based discussions, build and execute strategy, and manage resources.\nRepresent L3Harris Corporation at customer meetings, Industry related meetings and conferences\nMust be able to support up to 50% travel to US and international regions. \nAbility to obtain a US Secret security clearance\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 15 years of experience or post graduate degree and 13 years of experience in the international business development arena, or equivalent military experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience. \n10+ years' experience and demonstrated knowledge of defense, intelligence, and adjacent markets and customers across the maritime domain in the international markets. \n10+ years' demonstrated understanding of key maritime industry partners and OEMs in international locations. \n10+ years' demonstrated success shaping and closing international sales of major platforms and systems \nFamiliarity with U.S. export regulations and agencies. \nExperience engaging with senior executives at government agencies, major prime contractors, and commercial companies. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nDemonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional multinational teams spanning Business Development, Government Relations, Program Management, and Engineering to deliver successful campaign results. \nStrong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and a keen attention to detail. \nExperience in the International regional Markets \nExperience in Maritime platform capabilities. \nExperience with ship and/or boat builders in international locations. \nAbility to develop and nurture relationships with geographically dispersed people. \nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington State, DC and Virginia (Greater D.C. area), Denver, or NYC areas is $184K-$341K. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $160K-$297K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
