This is an opportunity to lead a portfolio of defense programs reporting to the Strategic Deterrence Business Unit. We are seeking an experienced leader to play an active role in driving program execution success while helping shape the future of L3Harris.\nEssential Functions\nLead a portfolio of defense programs supporting production and development efforts.\nProvide strategic and operational leadership to ensure program execution, cost, schedule and technical performance objectives are achieved.\nPartner with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful program outcomes.\nSupport customer engagement activities and maintain strong customer relationships.\nIdentify and mitigate program risks while driving continuous improvement across the portfolio.\nContribute to strategic planning and future growth initiatives within the THAAD and Strategic Systems Sector.\nLead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 15 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate degree and a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSignificant experience leading complex defense programs in production and/or development environments.\nDemonstrated leadership experience managing portfolios, teams and cross-functional stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of program execution, financial management, customer engagement and risk management.\nExcellent communication, collaboration and strategic planning skills.\nExperience supporting missile, strategic systems, propulsion, energetics or other related defense programs.\nExperience working within Department of Defense program environments.\nPrior experience leading large-scale, high-visibility customer programs.\nPrior experience with advanced aerospace propulsion assemblies that use liquid propellants\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $184,000 - $341,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
