The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a large fleet of digital radio equipment to ensure serviceable assets are returned to the end user in a timely manner.\nAs a member of the Maintenance Team, you will apply RF, digital, and analogue diagnostic expertise using test instrumentation and automated test equipment. You will contribute to continuous improvement through accurate data capture, failure trend analysis, and collaboration with engineering, logistics, and field service stakeholders, while maintaining strict quality, safety, and security standards.\nWhat the role will involve\nThe responsibilities of your role will include the following: \nPerform efficient and effective inspection, diagnostics and repair of digital and analogue RF equipment and ancillaries using test instrumentation and equipment.\nAccurately document diagnostic findings, corrective actions, and solutions using data collection and integrated enterprise resource planning software.\nAssist engineering functions by supporting investigations, analysis, and product improvement activities as required.\nAnalyse failure trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nProvide clear technical feedback to management, engineers, and peers on diagnostics, processes, and tools.\nCoach and assist peers to strengthen overall team capability and technical competence.\nMaintain required quality standards through adherence to best practices and procedures.\nEnsure full compliance with workplace Health and Safety legislation and policies\nProvide direct customer and end-user technical support, including on-site activities when required.\nAbility to obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (NV1).\nQualifications:\nCertificate III in applicable Technical Trade (Minimum).\nNV1 Security Clearance (Baseline required prior to commencing employment).\nMinimum 4 years’ experience within an applicable trade.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nPrior Australian Defence Force (ADF) experience in Technical Maintenance.\nExperience and working knowledge of the Australian Department of Defence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program.\nUnderstanding of Trunked radio systems.\nUnderstanding of the Project 25 (P25) digital radio network communications standard.\nExperience in RF,
