The ideal candidate will have experience with soldering, electronic and mechanical assembly, and familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 cable assembly workmanship standards. Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and RF-related work is preferred. This position is well suited for someone who is eager to learn, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.\n\nEssential Functions:\nPerform hand soldering of electronic components, wiring, and assemblies in accordance with established workmanship standards\nAssemble electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, final assemblies, and cable assemblies using work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of material\nInspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards, including IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 cable assembly requirements\nSupport prototype, development, and production builds\nAssist with testing, troubleshooting, validation, and rework of assemblies as needed\nSupport engineers and senior technicians with build activities, issue resolution, and process improvements\nParticipate in RF-related assembly, test, or troubleshooting activities, when applicable\nMaintain accurate records of work completed, test results, and any identified issues\nFollow safety procedures, quality requirements, and company policies\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area\nAbility to obtain and maintain security clearance\n\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary education/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience\n\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience with electrical, functional, or environmental testing; troubleshooting and rework of assemblies; and prototype or low-rate production builds\nRF assembly, RF test, or RF troubleshooting experience preferred\nIPC certification or formal IPC training preferred\nFamiliarity with common lab and test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, continuity testers, and basic RF test equipment\nStrong attention to detail, commitment to quality and workmanship, adaptability, willingness to learn, good problem-solving skills, and a dependable, safety-conscious work ethic\nHands-on experience with soldering and electronic/mechanical assembly\nFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 cable assembly standards\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and bills of material\nStrong attention to detail and good manual
