Interface with metrology to ensure all equipment is in compliance with L3Harris calibration system. Work with engineers to identify and source optimal test equipment. Coordinate equipment repairs through equipment manufacturers and rental companies. Maintain inventory of department test equipment.\nPerform local computer security custodian duties. Interface with security to ensure all lab equipment and computer resources are operating in accordance with L3Harris Security Plan.\nFacilitate equipment and supply purchases on overhead budget.\nPerform department safety monitor role: review work conditions and coordinate with EHS and plant engineering to address safety concerns.\nEnsure full compliance with L3Harris ESD policies.\nInterface with facilities department to ensure laboratories and office areas are well maintained and office supplies are readily stocked.\n\nLab responsibilitiesVerify operation of lab equipment and PCs after IT updates.\nPerform security sanitization procedure for all assets leaving the lab.\nMaintain and update configuration/control files for simulation tools/suites.\nLead test automation initiatives across programs/labs.\nAbility to lift 40 lbs. unassisted or 80 lbs. as part of a two-person team.\n\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.\nSecret Security Clearance\n2+ years experience managing electrical test equipment and coordinating calibration.\n2+ years experience organizing and tracking the movement and usage of test equipment.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nProficient with IT operations.\nExcellent organization skills.\nEffective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.\nFamiliarity with LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control.\nExperience with OSHA requirements and ESD best practices.\nFamiliarity with high speed digital and RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.).\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the New Jersey area is $75,000.00 - $139,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
