They set-up and maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed. They conduct inspections of materials, parts, and assemblies using automated and manual methods and techniques. They interpret, evaluate, and report test results of specific products.\nEssential Functions:\nWorks on non-destructive testing assignments of routine nature and limited complexity following established and well-known procedures where limited judgment is required\nAssists higher level NDT Technicians by performing standard non-destructive testing inspections on components parts and assemblies\nAssists in setting up and calibrating equipment under the direct observation of higher level NDT Technicians\nAssists in preparing components for non-destructive testing inspection utilizing available equipment and processes under the direct observation of higher level technician(s)\nMaintains a neat and clean work area\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAbility to acquire security clearance\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nKnowledge of Applicable laws, codes, ordinances, and regulations\nKnowledge of the Techniques, tools, and equipment used in the inspection process\nKnowledge of Non-destructive testing methods\nBasic arithmetic, algebra, and physics principles and operations to solve problems\nAbility to interpret Engineering specifications, drawings, blueprints, production plans, and/or work
