Utilizes AutoCad software to develop concept and construction documents for a wide range of Facility projects. Coordinates with architecture and engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets, project justification, statement of work documents and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Responsible for managing to approved budgets and approving contracts and purchases. Oversees the construction and installation to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, cost and schedule.\nEssential Functions:\nWorks under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.\n\nCommunicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.\n\nWorks to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.\n\nWork consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems.\n\nIdentifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area.\n\nProblems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
