Additionally, the engineer will assist senior engineers with new product introductions, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEssential Functions:\nImplement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.\n\nDesign, develop, and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies, and systems.\n\nDevelop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.\n\nInterface with engineering to coordinate the release of new products.\n\nEstimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines.\n\nMaintain records and reporting systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.\n\nWork closely with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to oversee the development and transfer of new products from Engineering to Production.\n\nCreate work instructions, assembly routings, and establish labor/cycle time standards.\n\nPerform economic analyses to identify and address variances in planned labor and cycle times.\n\nMaintain manufacturing processes and oversee process equipment.\n\nDevelop/procure manufacturing tooling and qualify materials required for new product introduction (NPI).\n\nAttend daily shift huddles and support product line key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\nSupport root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to address product non-conformances.\n\nQualifications:\nTo be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical Engineering, chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with soldering and/or basic electronic manufacturing processes\n\nExperience with basic CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. etc.)\n\nBasic understanding of 3D Printing\n\nLean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow or Green Belt\n\nExperience with Minitab, JMP, or other statistical
