This position requires a strong understanding of global trade processes, IT systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that align with business objectives.\nEssential Functions:\nCollaborate with global trade teams, IT teams, and external partners to gather and document business requirements.\nAnalyze current processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.\nTranslate business needs into functional and technical specifications.\nDesign IT solutions to support global trade operations, including customs compliance, import/export processes, and trade finance.\nEnsure solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.\nAssist in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to global trade.\nWork closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.\nAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.\nFacilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather input and validate solutions.\nEnsure IT solutions comply with international trade regulations and standards.\nIdentify potential risks and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies.\nDevelop and execute test plans to ensure IT solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues as needed.\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\nStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.\nCreate detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides.\nProvide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status, risks, and issues.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in IT business analysis. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience working with ERP systems and global trade management software.\nHands-on experience supporting global trade operations within an IT context.\nProficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.\nFamiliarity with global trade systems such as Descartes OCR EASE or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, and process modeling.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.\nProven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\nUnderstanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export processes.\nPMP, CBAP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are a plus.\nFamiliarity with trade finance, supply chain operations, and logistics processes.\nExperience with data integration, APIs, and system interfaces.\nKnowledge of automation tools and technologies.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $96,000 - $178,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $84,000 - $156,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
