The successful candidate will work as a critical member of our DevOps team providing vision and leadership, driving architecture and design decisions and collaborating with 10 other engineers serving both unclassified and classified environments. The role involves Linux infrastructure and SW development pipeline maintenance, deployment and system configuration management, automation, virtualization, and containerization. We are mission-focused, results-oriented, innovative problem solvers and require these traits in the successful candidate as well.\nEssential Functions:\nLead projects on the DevOps team to design and deploy software development pipelines.\nDirectly support customer projects as needed\nLead integration of disparate systems for customer end systems in air-gapped environments.\nArchitect, implement, and maintain features with Git, Infrastructure as Code, and Kubernetes.\nAutomation of DevOps through scripting and software application development\nManage and implement development tools in secure/classified environments, ensuring end-to-end encryption and secure communication channels.\nImplement and manage certificate exchange authentication processes.\nDesign, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support scalable and robust application deployments.\nWork independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, while adhering to best practices and development processes.\nImplement and maintain infrastructure and servers using configuration management tools such as Salt, Ansible, and Puppet.\nCreate tools to improve automation, reliability, and continuously improve our pipeline.\nPromote continuous improvement and exploration of new technologies.\nEnsure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.\nTravel requirement - less than 10%\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and 9 years of relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience.
