As a key member of our engineering organization, you will contribute to the architecture, analysis, testing, and documentation of products supporting a variety of defense programs. Working under limited supervision, you will ensure our products comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and support technical activities throughout the design and test lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3/EMI/EMC) requirements are understood and integrated into product design, planning, testing, and documentation in compliance with applicable standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461).\nSupport technical reviews and contribute to design activities at both the system and sub-system level, including:\nComponent partitioning, packaging, and cable design (internal/external)\nGrounding and isolation approaches\nSchematic review and CCA layout for EMI considerations\nConducting trade studies and basic simulations relevant to EMI/EMC\nExecute engineering tasks for product design, test, and troubleshooting to support compliance with E3 requirements.\nAssist in developing EMI control plans, test procedures, and test reports.\nPrepare and maintain required documentation in support of product certification and engineering release needs.\nParticipate in laboratory and chamber test activities, including equipment setup and data collection.\nInterface occasionally with customers and stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and test results.\nSupport proposal efforts for new business opportunities related to EMI/EMC requirements.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance (Secret or higher)\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering) and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
