We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are.\nEssential Functions:\nModel factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key performance indicators\nCalculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints\nApply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals\nInfluence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals, and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage \nWork with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth\nSupport new production contract/new product proposals and new product integration efforts\nImprove factory safety and work cell ergonomics\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required\nPossession of a valid driver’s license\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Qualifications:\nDegree such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain Management\nPrior experience working in a Lean environment with demonstrated understanding of Lean principles\nExperience leading a team or project to include demonstrated strong teaming skills to work with multiple levels of stakeholders (floor operators, peers, management, etc.)\nRequires strong oral and written communication skills to include experience creating and facilitating presentations and writing technical reports\nExperience/Education with factory layout and work cell design/optimization\nExperience/Education with simulation modeling and capacity analysis tools/methods preferably Siemens PlantSim\nExperience/Education with project management\nExperience with CAD Software\nExperience with Root Cause and Corrective Action process\nProficiency in Lean Principles, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints methodologies and tools \nChange management skills -
