This role requires a strong blend of financial knowledge, technical expertise, and business process understanding to deliver efficient and compliant financial solutions.\nEssential Functions:\nConfigure, support, and enhance various functional aspects of the SAP system landscape, particularly within the FI and CO modules.\nTroubleshoot application problems and manage daily issues and problem solving related to FICO.\nImplement and support business processes in areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Costing (CO), and Fixed Assets.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to SAP FI/CO processes.\nTranslate business needs into technical specifications for SAP configuration and development, and provide expert guidance on best practices.\nDesign and deliver solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system integrity.\nDevelop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate the functionality and integrity of SAP FI/CO solutions.\nEnsure modifications and enhancements meet user expectations and comply with department standards and best practices.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. \nMinimum of 5 years of experience with SAP FI/CO modules, including configuration, implementation, and support.\nAt least one full lifecycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA is often required or preferred.\nExperience with integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PS).\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nStrong functional knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and managing priorities.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills are vital for interacting with stakeholders and working effectively in a team.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience managing and executing migrations/upgrade projects.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.\nAbility to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity\nExperience working in a global shared services model with a centralized AP environment.\nExperience
