In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the program technical development is performed to meet all technical, cost, and schedule requirements. This includes but is not limited to:\nPlanning and execution of program activities\nDocumenting and approval of program plans\nEnsuring life-cycle process adherence\nRisk identification and management\nCustomer and Senior Leadership interaction\nOverall program coordination during the program lifecycle\n\nThe individual Engineering Functional Task Leaders (Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Specialty Engineering, Logistic Engineering, Technical Publications, etc.) report to and take direction from the Project Engineer for the assigned program operations. In addition, Project Engineers are the key technical interfaces to Customers and have the responsibility to interact with Customers at every phase of the program lifecycle.\nEssential Functions:\nProvide engineering leadership to a cross-functional team to resolve design and integration challenges\nServe as the primary technical focal point for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with customer, regulatory, cost, schedule, and performance requirements\nDevelop and manage project plans, technical baselines, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts\nReview and approve engineering deliverables, analyses, test plans, technical reports, interface documents, and design changes\nDrive resolution of complex engineering issues, root cause investigations, nonconformances, and corrective/preventive actions\nLead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR), technical interchange meetings, and milestone reviews with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers\nTrack Engineering Performance Metrics and brief program status on a monthly basis to senior engineering leadership\nTrack cost and schedule execution and be able to explain any variances and the path to get back to program targets\nProvide leadership for cross-functional teams in bid/proposal and program planning including BOE generation and Technical Volume responses to customer ROMs, RFIs, and RFPs\nSetup bid tools used during bid generation and track required completion status.\nEnsure program execution and Bid/Proposal development are in accordance with engineering processes and policies\nEnsure compliance with performance, reliability, and safety standards\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
