The functional oversight may include planning and executing program activities; developing, documenting, and approving program plans; ensuring adherence to established lifecycle processes; identifying and managing technical risks; supporting bid and proposal development; and coordinating technical efforts throughout the program lifecycle.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to obtain a US Secret security clearance.\n~25% travel based on business needs.\nLead engineering execution across the program lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, integration, verification, qualification, and transition to production or sustainment, as applicable.\nDevelop and maintain integrated engineering plans, technical milestones, resource forecasts, and engineering inputs to program schedules and budgets.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, resolve issues, and meet program commitments.\nEstablish and monitor technical performance measures, identify execution variances, and lead corrective actions.\nManage technical risks and opportunities, including mitigation planning, ownership assignment, and tracking through closure.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in technical fields such as engineering, math, or related area of study and minimum 9 years of prior engineering experience.\nGraduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior engineering experience.\nIn lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior engineering experience.\nExperience in one of the following engineering disciplines:Project Engineering\nSystems Engineering\nElectrical Engineering\n\nDemonstrated experience developing technical inputs for export license applications and supporting documentation.\nPreferred Additional Skills\nExperience leading complex aerospace, defense, communications, electronics, or other mission-critical engineering programs.\nDemonstrated systems engineering background, including requirements management, interface definition, architecture trade studies, and verification planning.\nExperience with Systems Integration Labs.\nExperience with Agile or digital engineering practices.\nExperience with DoW Agencies such as Secretary of the Air Force -
