This position reports to the Manager of the Airworthiness Project Lead group.\nEssential Functions:\nAbility to obtain a US Secret security clearance.\n10% travel based on business needs.\nWork on multi-function and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve company and customer goals.\nGenerate bids and proposals for certification activities.\nCreate and review FAA and Military project certification plans and compliance reports.\nTrack and report certification project status and budgets.\nCoordinate with company engineers on certification practices, concepts and approaches to show compliance to FAA regulations and military airworthiness criteria.\nCommunicate effectively throughout the organization, including leadership, customers and vendors.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives and offer ideas for aspects of the ODA and company business that need improvement.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.\nGraduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.\nIn lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.\nProject management experience related to certification, procedures, bids, or proposals.\nDemonstrated experience with FAA and/or Military airworthiness certification processes.\nPreferred Additional Skills\nKnowledge of 14 CFR Parts 23 and 25 regulations.\nKnowledge of MIL-HDBK-516C criteria.\nExisting DoD SECRET Security Clearance.\nPrevious experience with leading certification
