Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nDeep understanding of tactical radio communication protocols, digital signal processing (DSP), and waveform design.\nExperience with Linux kernel modification, custom U-Boot configuration, and hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).\nFamiliarity with Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) customization or Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) development.\nStrong background in automated test environments, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and DevOps workflows\nLeadership: 2+ years of experience acting as technical lead.\nCore Languages: Expert-level proficiency in C and modern C++ for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded environments.\nOperating Systems: Proven hands-on track record developing embedded software architectures utilizing Linux and Android distributions.\nAI Tooling: Practical experience integrating generative AI or AI-assisted development tools within a professional software environment.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York and Virginia (outside of Greater D.C. area) is $117,000 to $218,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
