You will be responsible for designing the software per requirements documents and system level design documents. There will be a focus to interface with the test engineers to influence test automation. The Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.\nEssential Functions:\nLeading software engineering development, through guidance and direction to one or more talented software engineers.\nUtilize software development Agile mythologies to lead meetings, track issues, report status, and synchronize development schedules.\nApply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted embedded hardware.\nAdvanced skills in C++, implementing software for embedded Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).\nWork closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware, firmware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.\nInvestigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-discipline team.\nSupport and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test.\nDevelop software test plans and procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.\nUtilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results.\nParticipate in peer reviews, identify, track and repair defects.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 9 years prior engineeringexperience OR Graduate Degree with 7 years prior engineering experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related engineering experience.\nActive US Secret Security Clearance.\nMinimum of 12 years of experience in computer/software engineering field.\nMinimum of 8 years C++ development in a professional environment.\nMinimum of 3 years leading software development teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing and testing real-time embedded software.\nFamiliarly with Greenhills RTOS preferred.\nExperience developing device drivers and
