This role requires a strong technical foundation, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to work across disciplines to define requirements, manage interfaces, resolve technical issues, and support overall system performance.\nThe selected candidate will contribute to system architecture, requirements management, integration planning, verification activities, and technical problem solving in a fast-paced environment. This position is well suited for an engineer who can operate independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and program stakeholders.\nEssential Functions:\nSupport system design, development, integration, test, and verification activities across all phases of the program lifecycle\nDevelop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface definitions, and technical documentation\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, manufacturing, quality, and program management\nSupport system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation\nParticipate in technical reviews, design reviews, risk assessments, and configuration management activities\nEvaluate system performance against technical requirements and support verification planning and execution\nAssist with development of test plans, procedures, reports, and other engineering artifacts\nTrack technical issues, action items, and program deliverables to support cost, schedule, and performance objectives\nProvide clear written and verbal communication to internal teams, leadership, customers, and external partners\nActive security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (Systems, Electrical or related field) and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience supporting complex communication system development in a multidisciplinary engineering environment\nExperience with requirements development, system integration, verification, and technical problem solving\nStrong background in system integration, verification, and environmental or qualification testing\nExperience with requirements management, modeling, or systems documentation tools\nAbility to manage multiple technical assignments and priorities with minimal oversight\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExperience supporting customer-facing technical discussions and formal engineering reviews\nFamiliarity with configuration management, risk management, and program execution
