They will have SI&T Engineering responsibilities consisting of the development, integration & test of electro-optic systems for airborne and ground surveillance. Candidate will work closely with cross functional members of in engineering, manufacturing, & program management to design, develop & build high performance systems.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop system integration concepts & test plan approach\nEnsure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures \nPerform system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessment, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability analyses\nDesign, develop, and release custom test equipment (HW and SW)\nCoordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and user interface\nDevelop custom test equipment procedures and instructions\nManage upgrades to STE for obsolescence / enhancements\nMaintain library of preferred test equipment / components and common architecture standards\nDesign Qualification program: plans, procedures, and test equipment\nAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nMBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)\nDOORS, Jama, and Cameo experience\nSoftware development for test applications (C/C++, Python, LabView, etc.)\nSystem modeling using Matlab/Simulink\nVideo transport and encoding (H.264, MISB and SMPTE standards)\nUnderstanding of defense products for the environments and platforms L3Harris supports\nAbility to effectively plan and organize projects and manage priorities\nExcellent organization and multi-tasking abilities with the ability to resolve conflicting priorities\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role New York state is $110,500 - $205,500.
