This role oversees classified and isolated network environments, ensures compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards, and drives continuous improvement across infrastructure, security operations, and service delivery. The manager partners closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and program leadership to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant technical operations across multiple systems.\nEssential Functions:\nLead and manage a team of system administrators supporting multiple on-site classified, accredited, and isolated network environments.\nOversee system operations across Windows Server, Windows workstation environments, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, Active Directory, email platforms, endpoint security tools, backup systems, and network devices.\nMaintain compliance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Department of Defense (DoD) Cybersecurity Workforce requirements, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards, and program-specific security directives.\nCoordinate technical planning, system hardening, patching, and vulnerability management across RTS infrastructure.\nSupport accreditation activities, incident handling processes, and preparation for customer security audits.\nPartner with program leadership to ensure secure, reliable system performance supporting mission deliverables.\nManage hardware resources, network components, and hands-on equipment that require on-site support.\nSupport proposal development by providing technical, cost and schedule inputs related to cybersecurity, system administration capabilities, staffing estimates, and infrastructure requirements.\nPerform Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities, including planning, tracking, and reporting cost and schedule performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) processes. \nTravel up to 5% for program or technical coordination.\nQualifications:\nActive US Secret security clearance.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.\n\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nCompliance with DoD Cybersecurity Workforce certification requirements.Progressive experience in system administration, network operations, information security, and engineering leadership. \n\nExperience leading teams supporting classified environments and DoD governed technical processes. \nExperience with secure network architecture design and defense-in-depth implementations.\nFamiliarity with accreditation packages, security control assessments, and Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) processes.\nKnowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Host-Based Intrusion Detection System (HIDS), endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability management tools.\nBackground administering multiple classified and customer-funded networks.\nCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP) certifications.\nExperience managing infrastructure during facility transitions or major system upgrades.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $127,500.00 - $236,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
