Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing assembly and/or testing of electro optical and infrared products.\nEssential Functions:\nPerform incoming functional test procedures.\nTroubleshoot and repair systems by replacing faulty components/assemblies.\nInstall software and firmware in accordance with instructions.\nPer procedure guidelines, perform post-maintenance on tests.\nPrepare required service documentation in a timely fashion.\nAttend off site training courses and self-study as required to maintain competency and compliance with serviced units, company policies, and procedures.\nInterface with internal and external customers.\nProvide regular status reports on work in progress.\nUphold safety requirements by wearing PPE and properly using work equipment in designated areas.\nWork against contractual deadlines to meet customer delivery dates.\nAccess and utilize web based technical publications.\nFollow ESD, FOD and Lasers procedures.\nFollow industry standard or practice for 6S.\nAbility to obtain a US security clearance. \nQualifications:\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nAdvanced computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.\nKnowledge of infrared/optical/laser systems is a plus.\nTechnical knowledge and skills in troubleshooting down to the component level is preferred.\n2 years of experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting is preferred.\n2 years of experience reading test procedures, operating instructions, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications is preferred.\nAnalog and digital troubleshooting skills are preferred.\nPlanning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.\nAbility to work individually and in a diverse and team-oriented
