May be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency.\n\nInnovation & Complexity:\nWork may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures;\nFollows established processes to complete tasks;\nIdentifies problems and issues in straightforward situations; and\nResolves most issues.\nOrganization Impact:\nWorks to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team; and\nWork is of moderate scope, typically on larger, task-related activities.\nEducation & Experience:\nRequires fully proficient knowledge/skills in complex avionics/electronics system testing and repair;\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years Technical/Community; and\nCollege Certificate with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.\nAdditional Qualifications that are ‘Preferred’:\nPrevious experience in the repair of military avionics/airborne systems including VHF/UHF radio communication systems; search radar system; \nimaging radar systems; CRT and AMLCD display systems; Link 11/16; and/or airborne flight instruments and control systems is preferred;\nPrevious experience, qualification, certification, and/or endorsement in J-STD-001 is preferred; and\nPrevious experience, qualification, certification, and/or endorsement in IPC-620 is preferred.\nAdditional Qualifications that are considered ‘Assets’:\nExperience working in the military as an AVS technician or for a defense contractor as an avionics test/repair technician; and\nPrevious experience, qualification, certification and or endorsement in IPC-7711 & IPC-7721.\nEligibility Criteria (Mandatory):\nMust be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; and\nMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Reliability Status and NATO SECRET (Level 2) security clearance.\nL3Harris Technologies is an agile global aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers’ mission-critical needs.
