Implement process improvements and track operations and performance parameters to ensure high quality, on time delivery. Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are complex and may require comprehensive information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.\nEssential Functions:\nSenior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.\nManages complex projects or processes with general oversight. Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.\nMakes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.\nWorks to achieve operational targets with direct impact on the departmental results.\nInvestigates and determines root causes of problems, develops and implements corrective and preventive actions.\nContributes to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.).\nMinimal travel required.\nAbility to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nStrong knowledge of job area. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.
