The role involves providing proposal training and collaboration for cross-functional teams throughout the proposal development process. Additionally, the Proposal Operations Manager will manage, coach, and mentor the Proposal Analyst team.\nEssential Functions:\nManage complex projects or processes with general oversight\nOversee the generation, quality, and timeliness of proposal submittals and status reporting internally and externally\nCommunicate within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures\nCoordinate with Program leadership aligned to ECP and proposal activity to ensure buy-in and executability\nMake moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes\nFocus on problem identification and independently define and implement relevant continuous improvement solutions\nContribute to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on departmental results\nAct as a subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of business acquisition and proposal development\nDevelop business strategies for proposals that ensure long-term business success\nOperate with expertise and full understanding of product offerings/capabilities across the portfolios\nRemain current on all program activities to ensure that proposals are accurate, achievable, and consistent with the financial goals of the Division/Sector\nMonitor program activities to ensure compliance with product specifications, performance requirements, schedules, and cost commitments\nDevelop broad, cooperative relationships with numerous groups and individuals across functions and teams\nDemonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic\nDeliver a high level of customer service to internal customers\nExhibit meticulous task management and execution excellence\nAdapt easily to changing environments and multiple competing demands\nWork comfortably both as an individual and in group settings, interacting with all levels of management\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience\nMust be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nProposal experience preferred\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SharePoint\nExcellent communication, judgment/problem-solving, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills\nExcellent written and presentation skills\nWell-organized, resourceful, and a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail\nAbility to anticipate assistance needs and take initiative\nAble to effectively handle multiple simultaneous projects\nFlexible in the face of changing priorities\nAbility to interact positively with executives, managers, customers, and other administrators\nWilling to work extended hours as needed\nStrong leadership skills\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $76,500 - $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
