The QAM ensures products and services consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. The QAM will oversee all quality processes, conduct audits, manage corrective actions, and drive the continuous improvement of the QMS. The primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 standard across all departments, while driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop, implement, maintain and continually improve the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 requirements.\nEnsure the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the QMS are planned and implemented.\nConduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and develop appropriate corrective actions.\nMonitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.\nLead and facilitate root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and prevent their recurrence.\nCoordinate external audits and certifications, serving as the primary point of contact for ISO 9001 and AS 9100 related matters..\nEducate and provide guidance and support to teams during the development and implementation of new processes, products, and services to ensure quality requirements are met.\nTravel to other Maritime Australia Sites will be required (15%)\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management) or equivalent work experience.\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent is highly desirable.\nAS9100 Auditor qualification or experience highly desirable.\nProven experience in implementing and managing a quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 and/or AS 9100.\nAbility to hold an NV1
