As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, analyses and/or audits of highly complex developmental products or processes to include microelectronics, precision mechanical, software, test equipment and fully integrated systems to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements. You will assist in development and inspection of complex rework and repair of deliverable subassemblies and large system level integrated platforms and approve production records for conformance to procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring safety, reliability and hardware traceability for end-item systems and mission solutions through production quality oversight while collaborating with Quality Engineers in developing inspection requirements and techniques and implementing quality plans. You should be comfortable assisting in the evaluation of defect data to identify trends while collaborating with Quality Engineers to make recommendations on process improvements. You may routinely interface with customer representatives or suppliers. Your work assignments require judgment and initiative. Travel to suppliers and other L3Harris locations to perform hardware inspections may be required. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic team environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating competence and attention to detail. as a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. \nRoot Cause and Correct Action (RCCA) Analysis\nVerify the operational state of various L3Harris products and accessories\nEvaluate the requirements compliance of L3 Harris hardware products\nQualifications:\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience\nAbility to support program travel up to 50%\nAbility to obtain DoD clearance (Secret or higher)\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nBackground with satellite payloads\nKnowledge of failure reporting tool\nFamiliarity with common measuring devices\nFamiliarity with AS9100D including experience performing process audits\nBasic knowledge in GD&T\nAbility to work in a clean room environment for extended time\nMicrosoft Office experience\nAbility to work on-call support over multiple shifts, weekends and holidays\nAbility to work different shifts on rotational basis\nAbility to review assembly/ test documentation for appropriate traceability and in accordance with internal company
